I'm Not Giving Up!
It looks bleak. The D-Backs have played very good baseball and are one win away from advancing to the NLCS.
But I'm not quiting on my Cubs. It is not over. Remember what the Red Sox had to overcome to break their long drought. Maybe this will be our hill to climb. Speaking of Hill, Rich Hill starts today's Game 3 at Wrigley Field. If Hill and the offense can get it going today, the momentum could turn in a hurry. And Cubs momentum could create doubt in the young D-Backs. A lot of hope and ifs; but that is what sports, and especially being a Cubs fan, is all about.
Go Cubs Go!!!

I hear you! As a Phillies fan I know the position the Cubs are in, and it's definately a spot that can be overcome... I'd like to see the Cubs rally as well.
Ya gotta believe!

You spent over 300 million and have nothing to show for it
Your best Pitcher Guerinteed that you would win it all and that he would be the Cy Young Award Winner HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, what a laugh
CUBS still are losers and will always be losers so get over it

Denny - It's spelled guaranteed. Congratulations on that classy comment on the blog of a guy that would never think to do the same to a Cards blog if the roles were reversed. Cards fans just took a hit in my book.
Chad - It all starts again at Wrigley against my Brewers next April.... and ends in Milwaukee next September. It will be a battle from beginning to end!

I agree, Steve. Never come to another person's blog and talk smack, especially when someone and the team is down as Denny did. That's really unnecessary.
Chad, fellow historian, I'm sorry about your Cubs, and I know that some family and good friends of mine are also hurting over this. Keep up the good work on your blog. Because I'm superstitious about these things, I won't change my blog midstream at this point, but when the season's over, I'm going to add your blog to a non-Yankees blog section on my blog. Keep your chin up, your team had a good year.

Steve and Jason- Thanks for your kind words. You guys realize that sports are fun entertainment, but just a game. Certainly not worth losing your dignity over.
